Offshore Veteran Adopts the Cause of the Female Sailor

A two-time circumnavigator with 24 years of teaching experience, Nancy Erley has been named to the Advisory Board of the National Women's Sailing Association
The National Women's Sailing Association has announced the election of Nancy Erley to its Advisory Board. Erley is the founder and owner of Tethys Offshore Sailing for Women in Seattle, Washington. She's a two-time circumnavigator and holds a 50-ton master of oceans license and a 100-ton master near-coastal license.

Erley has been teaching women to sail for the past 24 years and was the 2006 recipient of the Leadership in Women's Sailing Award. This award honors an individual who has a record of achievement in inspiring, educating, and enriching the lives of women through sailing.
