Wave Blade Demo Here

Back in the fall I promised a follow-up demo when I announced the arrival of the Wave Blade hull maintenance tool. Well, between the foul weather here in New England over the winter and a rather heavy travel schedule I didn't get a chance to actually try the tool out until yesterday. The video below shows just how effective this new tool really is and I must say it was impressive. Some points not mentioned in the video are that this tool is submersible and the cord that comes with it is really long. The idea is to plug it into a cigar lighter adaptor on your boat and jump overboard with the tool to do a short dive on your hull and power scrape it clean. It works OK above water as you can see. My friend Tim Murphy and I simply plugged the tool into the cigar lighter in my Honda CRV and ran over to the Sabre sailboat you see and barnacles be gone! Watch the video and see what you think:
