Seychelles & African Safari
Explore land and sea with a safari across the Serengeti and a charter through the Seychelles. October 18-28, 2012
“Perhaps the Creator willed that the Seychelles should be so isolated,” wrote Archbishop Makarios of Cyprus in 1967, “so that the primitive natural beauty He created should not be destroyed.”
This sun-drenched island paradise, known as the Garden of Eden, is sprinkled over 500,000 square miles of the Indian Ocean between the equator and Madagascar. During our 10-day charter on Sunsail monohulls and cats, naturalists will be awed by the most unusual flora and fauna in the world, the giant tortoises—more here than anywhere on earth—and the many rare species of exotic birds. Jump right from your boat into the crystal-clear water and swim among the kaleidoscopic coral reefs and 900 species of colorful tropical fish. Cooling breezes are steady year-round.
With the Seychelles perfectly situated off the African coast, guests may also like to join our 10-day safari across the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater, then, spend four nights with us in exotic Zanzibar!
