Off the coast of Italy, there is an island where Latin is still spoken in places, where the cheeses and wines are renowned through Europe, where local village women still wear traditional black long dresses with lace aprons as part of their daily attire, where the coastline is one of the most beautiful and rugged in all of the Med, with soaring golden cliffs towering like skyscrapers up to the heavens.

Our flotilla charter starts in the northeast part of the island, near the lush Puerto Cervo, where the Yacht Club Costa Smeralda, one of the most exclusive yacht clubs in the world, is nestled, its docks lined with the most extraordinary megayachts on the planet. We'll charter during the prestigious Rolex Maxi Yacht Regatta; we'll see the exciting starting-line action; and in the evening—by special invitation—we'll attend the world-class festivities put on by the yacht club to entertain participants.

Then it's off to sail north through the brilliant Maddalena archipelago, and along the stunning coast; visiting walled cities, spectacular secluded anchorages, and the cliff town of Bonifacio, on the French island of Corsica.

The cost of $3,250 (per person, double occupancy) includes cocktail parties and dinners; special invitation to the Yacht Club Costa Smeralda; partial provisions; lead boat with CW flotilla leaders and professional skipper. Choose boat with captain, skipper your own; or we have great success putting like-minded charterers together; singles welcome.
