Bitter End Plays Host to Women's Sailing Course
Participants in this year's Women on the Water Week will bolster their cruising and racing skills while stationed out of the Bitter End Yacht Club in the British Virgin Islands.

The 17th annual Women on the Water Week runs October 25 through October 31, 2008, at the Bitter End Yacht Club on Virgin Gorda in the British Virgin Islands. The event combines exceptional hands-on instruction in skippering, sail trimming and changing, crewing, MOB techniques, and racing. All courses are taught by women, and sailors of all skill levels are welcome.

Teachers include Olympic champion Betsy Alison, big-boat racer Martha Parker, and cruising expert Pam Wall. The Bitter End is a great vacation spot for the whole family who can enjoy a variety of shoreside activities. For more information, consult the Bitter End website or Pam Wall at West Marine (www.beyc.com, pamw@westmarine.com).
