So, I’m sitting in front of my computer at Cruising World world headquarters. It’s December 21. The Winter Solstice. The shortest day of the year. But instead of getting a little down at the prospect of suffering through another New England winter, I’ve decided to celebrate the fact that the days are finally going to stop getting shorter and darker (though not any warmer up here in Newport, Rhode Island) by posting some photos and reliving some fond memories of a recent charter in Antigua and Barbuda. The story from the trip “Sail, Swim, Submerge, Smile, Celebrate” has already appeared in the mag, but click here for more photos that’ll help brighten a dark winter day.

I also tested a bunch of waterproof cameras on this trip. Click here to see the report.

And we want to see your photos. Click here to join the CW community and to share some of your cruising shots.
