Matt Rutherford's Almost Home

Matt Rutherford, the audacious solo sailor, is almost home! After more than 10 months at sea that included the Northwest Passage and a rounding of Cape Horn—on a 27-foot Albin Vega—nonstop, Matt is today crossing his track at the mouth of the Chesapeake.

Want to greet him when he makes landfall? Matt plans to tie up in Annapolis on Saturday, April 21! For more details, visit www.solotheamericas.org.
