This image of the Star of India is among the 15 Michael Berman photographs featured in the Maritime Museum of San Diego's Portrait of Tall Ships exhibit.

The Maritime Museum of San Diego is featuring 15 black-and-white images by nautical photographer Michael Berman in its Portrait of Tall Ships exhibit, which runs through the end of 2008 on board the Star of India, the oldest active sailing ship in the world. Images on display include those of Star of India as well as other celebrated schooners and sailing ships, such as Martha, Zodiac, Pride of Baltimore II, Lynx, Californian, Gazela, Virginia, H.M.S. Surprise, and Lady Washington.
