John and Kerry Pears share their photos of the devastation along Mansion Avenue, Great Kills, Staten Island. The Pears' sailboat, Folly, was one of the many victims of superstorm Sandy. "Thankfully we got off Folly safely to take refuge in a motel, as she was washed ashore at the neighboring marina, still attached to the floating dock, at the height of the storm."
