May 15, 2013Shots from the Cruising LifeWatching the last glimpse of the daylight as we prepare for another overnight sail. My wife, Emily, and I have been sailing the Mexican coast for 3 years. We left San Diego in 2010 and have been all through the Sea of Cortez and down to the bottom of Mexico to the Guatemalan border. We were on a month long trip to Desolation Sound and about a week into our trip the windlass motor burned up.
