Chicago BOTY Award Presentation
Sailing World associate editor Mike Lovett (far left) and I (far right) presented Mike Lecholop, Beneteau USA's Vice President of Sales (second from left), and Wayne Burdick, Beneteau USA's President (second from right), framed photos of their two BOTY award winning boats at the Strictly Sail Chicago boat show in late January. Cruising World's BOTY judges named the First 30 the Best Small Cruiser, 30 Feet and Under, and the Sense 50 was named the Best Full-Size Cruiser, 50 to 55 Feet. The First 30 was also earned Best Crossover honors from the Sailing World judges.
