Hunter 50 CC: A Mini Review

Setting sails and trimming them is made easy on the Hunter 50 CC thanks to a self-tacking nonoverlapping headsail and an in-mast furling main.

Hunter lists the center cockpit 50 as an extended blue water cruiser with luxury home amenities. The spacious two cabin, two head layout, walk in cedar closet and optional jet spa bath tub located under the aft stateroom bunk seem to support this claim. Other options include a deep keel, larger fuel tank and a three cabin layout that simply divides the large forward double cabin into two smaller doubles. The hull is the same as the Hunter 49 with their trademark B&R rig, arch for the traveler and Kevlar® reinforced bow.
