Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 44i: A Mini Review
Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 44i 368

The "i" in 44i signifies that resin injection technology is employed in manufacturing the deck, a process which assures consistent quality, lighter weight, and less odorous impact on the air around the factory.

In the 44i, Jeanneau's ever evolving Sun Odyssey line gets some innovations on deck that shed a little extra light on a new interior decor: The cockpit table is raised on a plinth that straddles the twin aft cabins, adding a little overhead space and providing light and air through opening ports set just above the cockpit sole.

Newly styled cabinets that line the hull in saloon, galley, and staterooms are finished in "new teak," presenting a uniform color and grain that picks up light reflected from pale colored upholstery and hull ceiling panels.

Several permutations of cabin arrangements and heads are available, all set around the common saloon with its U-shaped dining area to starboard opposite an in-line galley.
