Grew up sailing the inland lakes of North Idaho where there is no such thing as a constant wind. Learned to read the water and the wind at an early age and feel that it has made me a better sailor. I own a 24 ft Neptune which I have been restoring, and I race everyweek on a 27 ft Catalina in Bayview ID. I have completed the ASA 101 - 104 courses in the San Juan Islands with San Juan Sailing (Awesome company if someone is looking for classes or charters). I have done multiple trips out of the Seattle/Bellingham area and throughout the San Juan Islands and Canada's Gulf coast. I sail around 3- 4 days a week and dont see myself slowing down anytime soon. I currently sell real estate in Coeur d'Alene ID and plan to cruise from Seattle to the Carribean for retirement (Still a ways out!). "Little Red Shoes" 1979 Full keel 24' Neptune made by Capitol Yachts. Bought for $3,500 with brand new Honda 8 horse kicker, four sails, all rigging, and adjustable Calkins Trailer. No major problems and just needed some cleaning up. I have been slowly replacing the rigging, and hardware. Also in the proccess of making a "homemade" wooden dingy. Great family boat for weekend cruising and camping
