I'm a 64-year old retiree who, until last April, had never even rowed, much less owned, a dinghy (come to think of it, I've still never rowed one). That, however, didn't stop me from buying the Neeltje (see description below) down in Fort Lauderdale, and motoring her up the 300 miles of ICW to Saint Augustine with the help of a pair of considerably less "clueless" childhood friends without whom I couldn't have gotten her off the dock. In short, I'll probably be posting more dumb questions than smart ones, but I promise to do my homework before doing so, so please bear with me.
