Sure, spring has officially arrived, which means that summer can’t be that far off; but it’s still rather chilly in many places. So get a jump on this year’s sailing season by taking advantage of some great deals from the Moorings. The company is celebrating the expansion of its flagship base in Road Town, Tortola, in the British Virgin Islands, by offering 25 percent off the price of a bareboat monohull or multihull charter anytime before July 31, 2008.

For those of you who don’t like to plan ahead, the Moorings is offering a special savings on last-minute getaway charters to warm destinations. Receive 15 percent off when you head to the eastern Caribbean and set sail from Tortola, St. Martin, St. Lucia, or Canouan. The same deal applies to departures from, Belize, in the western Caribbean; Baja, in Mexico; or the Bahamas, between now and May 30, 2008.

Charters must be for a minimum of six days and must be booked by April 30, 2008, to take advantage of these special rates. These deals are for new bookings only and aren’t combinable with any other offer or promotion. Other restrictions may apply. For more information, contact the Moorings (www.moorings.com).
