Ft. Lauderdale Boat Love

Folks who know me well also know I'm a boater that loves most all boats, power or sail. I've owned both and have enjoyed both types of boating and the differences between power and sail lifestyles. I've also been quoted at least one magazine that comes to mind as someone that prefers traditional, timeless boat styling.

Folks who know me well also know I’m a boater that loves most all boats, power or sail. I’ve owned both and have enjoyed both types of boating and the differences between power and sail lifestyles. I’ve also been quoted at least one magazine that comes to mind as someone that prefers traditional, timeless boat styling.

Well today changed all that. I’m here in Ft. Lauderdale this week attending a series of meetings with my colleagues at the ABYC but also attending the IMBC show (International Marina and Boatyard Conference). My hotel is located right on one of the many canals that run through Ft. Lauderdale and this morning a boat passed through that absolutely took my breath away. Not timeless, but just too cool for words. Got to share the view with you all and tomorrow I’ll report from the show which opens tonite. Check it out:
