NCwaterways.com Offers On Line Hurricane Preparation Plan

The North Carolina Marine Trades Service and NCwaterways.com have made preparation for 2002 hurricane season easier with their North Carolina marina and boatyard hurricane preparation plan.

This eight page document is available in PDF form on the NCwaterways.com website. Included are lists of necessary equipment, annual and monthly inspection lists, as well as a detailed list of actions to be taken from up to 72 hours prior to a storm’s arrival through post-storm cleanup.

A customer checklist is included to hand out to all marina and boatyard customers to insure that everyone is aware of what they need to do to protect their property and guarantee the safety of others. All potential boating scenarios, from docked, anchored and moored boats, to trailerable watercraft, are covered.
