I’ve checked in at the booths and walked the docks for only a few hours, and I can assure you, if boats, gear, electronics, chartering, and the latest news in the world of sailing are your thing, check out the Strictly Sail Pacific boat show running through Sunday, April 17. This morning I tried on sunglasses that float, watched the Ultra Anchor sold by Quickline USA tested against the CQR and Danforth and others, listened to a talk by singlehander Bruce Schwab, and even chatted with America’s Cup syndicate staff from Oracle. I’ll save my report of a visit with crew from Thorfinn Expeditions aboard the award-winning Presto 30 for next week’s Charter Briefing blog. Stay tuned!
