Ocean Watch Makes Landfall in Newport, RI

The research sailing vessel, en route on its 13-month, 24,000 nautical-mile journey around the North and South American continents to raise awareness of climate change, recently paid a two-day visit at the port of Newport, home of CW editor at large Herb McCormick. CW editor Mark Pillsbury interviewed program director Mark Schrader and our own Herb McCormick about what they have learned on the voyage so far.
