Alerion Express 33: Mini Review
Cruising World 2008 New Boat Showcase
Sep 11, 2007 By Jeremy McGeary (More articles by this author)
When Nat Herreshoff designed his Alerion, which was destined to become his favorite personal boat, few thought of sailing for pleasure as anything other than a daytime occupation. For those of similar mind today, the Alerion Express 33, designed and built by Pearson Composites, should have considerable appeal. True to the Herreshoff idea, the Alerion Express has no lifelines (although they can be ordered) and in case the mood or weather encourages it, simple but elegant appointments below accommodate overnighting.
