Catalina 320 : Mini Review
Cruising World 2008 New Boat Showcase

Sep 12, 2007
By Jeremy McGeary (More articles by this author)

Building on the success of the 309, introduced last year as a replacement of the iconic Catalina 30, Catalina's Gerry Douglas has totally revamped another gold-disk seller in the company's line. The new Catalina 320 has a redesigned interior, a wider cockpit, and numerous structural and hardware upgrades but still measures in to race one-design with its worthy predecessor (and to be accepted into that boat's Class Association).

Taking styling cues from the 309, the 320 is contemporary in outward appearance and modern in its interior appointments. The saloon, generously lit by natural and electrical sources, glows under the seamless overhead liner. In the cockpit, a large steering pedestal accommodates electronic navaids with fashionable functionality.
