Dufour 425 Grand' Large : Mini Review
Cruising World 2008 New Boat Showcase

Sep 12, 2007
By Jeremy McGeary (More articles by this author)

Clean lines and simple execution have marked the Grand' Large series from Dufour since its inception, and the Dufour 425 expounds that philosophy in every respect. Patrick Roseo's dexterous manipulation of space results in an interior that offers a two-cabin layout with two heads or a three-cabin layout with three heads. Umberto Felci has managed to enclose this abundance in a hull and deck that still contrive to suggest lines both svelte and conducive to fleetness.

Twin helms extend the spacious atmosphere to the cockpit, where straight seats accommodate both lounging and dining at the centerline table, which in turn provides a mount for the compass and ancillary navigation instruments.
