Seawind 1250: A Mini Review

Carol Vernon reviews this versatile cruising cat for the 2010 CW Sailboat Show.

Seawind 1250 368 mini

The new 41ft Seawind 1250 made its first appearance in Sydney earlier this year. Built in Australia by a company with over 200 catamarans to its credit, this new design builds on the success of the Seawind 1160 but has a higher bridgdeck clearance (2′-9″), a longer waterline, and more interior volume. There is a galley up (in salon) and a galley down (in hull) layout, each with three cabins and two heads. The latter also has a navigations stations and a day bed in the salon.
