Hunter Marine receives Cruising World's 2012 Boat of the Year award for their e33.
Hunter Marine’s Greg Emerson (right) takes a break from his boat show duties during Strictly Sail Miami to receive accolades from Cruising World editor Mark Pillsbury for the Hunter e33’s success in the 2012 Boat of the Year program. The e33 was named Best Compact Cruiser, 30 to 35 Feet. BOTY judges were impressed by the boat’s layout, the attention to detail during construction, and the fact that it was built to a price point—under $120,000—that would encourage people to move from a trailer sailer or small boat into a true cruising boat.
