Boat of the Year Awards: Leopard 48
The Leopard 48 was named Cruising World's 2013 Best Full-Size Multihull.
It takes a team to build and market a sailboat, not to mention garner the accolades. The Leopard 48, built by Robertson and Caine for Tui Marine, was named Best Full-Size Multihull in Cruising World's 2013 Boat of the Year Contest. The 48 is available for private owners under the Leopard brand and as a charter catamaran as the Moorings 4800. On hand for the award presentation were, from left, Peter Cochran, vice president of operations, Tui Marine, John Robertson, CEO of Robertson and Caine, Franck Bauguil, vice president of yacht ownership and sales, Tui Marine, CW editor Mark Pillsbury, and Mathew Prior, Tui's managing director, Specialist Holidays Group.
