The Hylas 46 is the continuation of a very successful run of semi-custom, center-cockpit sailboats. While earlier models came off the drawing boards at Sparkman & Stephens, Lady Helen is a German Frers design, notable for its fine entry, wide midship beam brought aft, fin keel and deep semi-elliptical spade rudder balanced off a partial skeg. The interior is plush, and includes meticulously installed systems.
