A Different-Shaped Bow
Dr. Robert Leviton sails his O'Day 322 Tiiramisu out of Orienta Yacht Club in Mamaroneck, NY. He writes: I am not sure where I learned the trick of the secure shoelace tie; from one of our seasoned yachtsmen or reading a faded copy of Chapman's, but I feel obliged to share with your readers this simple tie that over the years has kept my laces from falling apart at the most inconvenient of times.

Write With Your Knots
Do you tie your moccasins with a boring old bow or do you have an innovative way to tie them? Send us digital photos and step-by-step instructions and we'll post the best ones right here!
