X-Yachts adds a third model, the X49, to its hybrid range of sailboats that borrow elements from its cruising and performance lines. The 49-footer’s hull is vacuum-infused epoxy and glass, saving weight that’s offset by a lead-bulb keel for stiffness. The triple-spreader rig provides plenty of power; below, comfort abounds.
