Sunsail’s New 38-Footer Courtesy Of Sunsail Sailing Vacations

Built by Jeanneau to Sunsail’s charter specifications and also known as the Jeanneau 379, the new Sunsail 38 is part of the company’s plan to invest in 230 new yachts for the 2011-2012 sailing season. The two-cabin/one-head cruiser is available for sailing vacations in the British Virgin Islands beginning this month.
The boat features a full suite of navigational electronics and twin-wheel steering; all lines lead to the cockpit for easy shorthanded sailing. Belowdecks, the interior features a fully equipped galley to starboard, with a refrigerator/freezer, a propane stove/oven, a microwave, and a double sink. The U-shaped saloon offers comfortable seating for up to six and also converts into a double berth.

Beneteau Sense 43 Joins Florida Yacht Group
The Beneteau Sense 43 is available for charter from the Miami base of Florida Yacht Group. The design by Berret Racoupeau/Nauta features a spacious open cockpit with twin helm stations and rudders for better control and maneuverability. The boat is equipped with a bow thruster, a roller-furling main, electric winches, and a self-tacking jib for shorthanded sailing. Amenities include a generator, air-conditioning, a Bose sound system, and a flat-screen TV. For details, contact the company.

Gemini Added in Annapolis
A 34-foot Gemini 105Mc catamaran, part of the SailTime fractional sailing program, has joined the charter fleet at the Annapolis Charter Center, in Annapolis, Maryland.

The full-service facility dedicated to catamarans is also home to the popular Multihull Demo Days and semi-annually hosts the Gemini Catamaran Owners Rendezvous. The center, also the new home of Gemini Gems, the newsletter for owners, is a division of the Catamaran Company.

Powercat Added to Florida Base
Southwest Florida Yachts has added Albino Wino, a 50-foot Wright powercat, to its fleet located in North Fort Myers. The boat has three cabins, three heads, twin 350-horsepower diesels, and such amenities as air-conditioning and heat. You can visit the company’s website for additional information.

Dream Yacht Hires Broker
Michel Benarrosh has joined Dream Yacht Charter at its office in Annapolis, Maryland, to head up the yacht-sales and yacht-management division in North America.
