Horizon Yacht Charters has launched the 14-day Horizon Rum Cruise 2008 package. Designed for both sailors and nonsailors seeking adventure, great sailing, fabulous scenery–and of course, rum–the flotilla will leave Antigua on May 9, 2008, with guides Paul and Marguerite Jackson and embark on a 200-mile voyage through the Leeward and Windward islands. The group will visit a variety of rum distilleries, sampling wares along the way, and finish the cruise in St Lucia on May 23.
Charter prices, depending on catamaran or multihull, and bareboat or skippered, range from $5,850 to $8,550. Skippers are available from $150 per day for those who like to have someone on board to help guide them through the islands, or for nonsailors who prefer to let someone else take the helm.
