Horizon yacht sales 368
Horizon Yacht Charters Grenada is organizing a flotilla to the St. Lucia Jazz Festival in May 2010. Charterers may book boats for seven days or for 14 days.
Aimed at music lovers and sailors of all levels, the Caribbean flotilla makes the round-trip from Grenada; the fleet includes a lead yacht and experienced Horizon crew. Overnight stops are planned along the course north through St. Vincent and the Grenadines, including at the Tobago Cays and the islands of Mustique and Bequia.
The fleet will stay several days in St. Lucia to take in performances all over the island before sailing downwind through the Grenadines and returning to the base.
Rates are dependent on the seven- or 14-day option and the size of the yacht. For non-sailors, skippers are available from just $150 per day. To find out more about the package, rates, and availability, visit the Horizon website (www.horizonyachtcharters.com) or contact the reservations team via e-mail ([email protected]).

Southwest Florida Yachts Adds 31-foot Island Packet
Southwest Florida Yachts has added Sojourner, an Island Packet 31 sloop, to its fleet at Burnt Store Marina. The monohull is perfect for sailing and cruising in the waters from Punta Gorda to Captiva Island, Florida.
The wide-beamed vessel is ideal for two couples or a family of four, according to Barb Hansen of Southwest Florida Yachts. It features a double berth in the forward cabin. Amenities include an AM/FM radio with CD player, Sirius XM radio, and a television. The galley is equipped with a refrigerator, a two-burner propane stove, and an oven.
Sojourner has a new three-cylinder, 30-horsepower Yanmar inboard engine. In the cockpit, wheel steering is complemented by navigation and plotting tools, including a compass; marine charts and cruising guides; a depth sounder; and a GPS plotter.
Sojourner typically charters for $1,600 for five days in the summer and $2,000 in high season. Through 2010, as part of the company’s 25th anniversary, charterers receive one extra cruising day for charters of three days or more when cruising through April 30; they receive two free days when cruising between May 1 and December 14, 2010.
