Sailing Attractions Abound at Strictly Sail St. Petersburg

12th annual boat show features sailboats, gear, and seminars galore

The 2006 Strictly Sail St. Petersburg, taking place November 2-5, will have something for every sailor.

The show will feature new sailboats from Beneteau, Catalina, Hunter, Island Packet, and Hanse, more than 150 gear and accessory exhibitors, and more than 100 seminars covering topics like navigation, marine electronics, boathandling, and sailing basics. At the show’s Discover Sailing program, a national introduction-to-sailing event that seeks to introduce more newcomers to sailing, beginners can take a free ride on a wide variety of sailboats–from small trailerable sailboats to large cruising yachts.
