Everett Pearson, the co-founder of Pearson Yachts, died on December 24, 2017. He leaves behind a legacy that includes the production of many beloved cruising boat models, including the Pearson Triton, Vanguard, and 424. Pearson was a pioneer in fiberglass and a great leader in the sailing industry. He was one of the co-founders of Sail America and it’s first president. Most of all, he will be remembered by those who knew him as a great gentleman with a wonderful sense of humor and a class act. Read the full obituary from the Providence Journal.
