Offshore Sailing School new website

Offshore Sailing School’s new website offers a responsive design that is easily viewed on any device.

Offshore Sailing School’s President & CEO Doris Colgate announces the launch of the company’s new website www.OffshoreSailing.com, providing enhanced information on the company’s sail and power courses, curricula, corporate and group programs, its seven Offshore Sailing School locations, with a full roster of enhanced video sailing tips.

The company’s new website, developed by Bayshore Solutions, reflects the latest technology in website design and customer usage. “Working with Bayshore Solutions teams in Tampa and Denver, we created a site filled with enticing photography and videos that is easily viewed on all platforms, with many more customer images and testimonials reflecting their enthusiasm for sailing and boating,” states Colgate.

Headquartered in Fort Myers, Fla with five sailing vacation campuses in Florida and the Caribbean, and two commuter locations in New York Harbor, Offshore Sailing School offers sailing lessons and sailing certification courses for beginners and advanced sailors, and a comprehensive certification course for those interested in cruising on big power boats.

“Our most popular program is the week-long Fast Track to Cruising® course,” says Colgate, “which takes students from their couch to the captain’s chair, providing the skills and certification to start bareboat charter cruising right after they graduate.” The Fast Track to Cruising course starts with two days learning aboard a Colgate 26, followed immediately by six days learning on a 40-50’ monohull or catamaran, while sleeping ashore at night or living aboard during those six days.

Offshore Sailing School, founded in 1964 by Olympian and America’s Cup sailor Steve Colgate, has graduated more than 130,000 adults and families. The company offers courses from basic sailing and power boating to passage making and racing, and provides flotilla cruises and sailing club opportunities for its graduates.

The School’s three Florida resort locations include South Seas Island Resort on Captiva Island, the Pink Shell Beach Resort & Marina on Fort Myers Beach, and the Hampton Inn & Suites in downtown St. Petersburg. The company also operates two resort campuses in the British Virgin Islands at The Moorings Yacht Center on Tortola, and Scrub Island Resort, Spa and Marina on Scrub Island.
