Mastervolt has introduced a new series of battery chargers/inverters for either 12 or 24-volt systems. MASS Combi series units are lighter than previous models, and they operate silently (no more humming transformers). The three-stage battery charger comes with a temperature sensor and is designed to work with wet, gel, or AGM batteries. The power factor correction feature ensures efficient charging even when the quality of incoming current is poor. Owners can connect the inverter output in parallel with shore or generator power, so if either fails there is no interruption in onboard AC power.
