The C&C 2016 Northeast Rendezvous will be at the historic Mystic Seaport this year on September 10-12, 2016. Information and reservations can be found at cncnortheast.com.

The Rendezvous is open to all owners of C&C Yachts, from the early designs to the newest fleet produced by US Watercraft, and will feature a private dock, a group dinner, private Mystic Seaport exhibit tours, a C&C-only Planetarium Show and much more.

The core of the group know each other from the email distribution list provided by the cncphotoalbum.com website where C&C owners can post questions and receive answers/advice from the collective wisdom of the group. Topics range from sails to engines, and anything else that has to do with owning a C&C sailboat. “it’s one of the most valuable aspects of owning my C&C,” said David Risch, owner of the C&C 40 Corsair, “I’ve learned so much from them.”

Previous C&C Rendezvous have been in Mystic, Block Island, Clinton and Newport. “We are returning to Mystic because it’s such a special place,” said Edd Schillay, Captain of the C&C 37+ Starship Enterprise and one of the organizers of the event. “And, aside from being a great location, it’s another great opportunity to make new friends, share our ‘war stories’ and the love for our boats, as well as see other C&C’s. It’s like a C&C-only floating boat show.”

The cost for the Rendezvous is $50.00 per person plus dockage. “We are also holding a fundraiser this year,” said Robert Gallagher, another one of the event organizers and captain of Hanuman, a C&C 30 Mk II. “We are working with the seaport to send a less fortunate kid to their Joseph Conrad Program, a summertime sailing camp.”

For those that want to attend by land, the Mystic Seaport is easy to get to by car or public transportation and there is a variety of lodging choices all within walking distance.
