Designer Tim Jackett teamed up with Island Packet founder and designer Bob Johnson and the result is the Blue Jacket 40, a fin-keeled cruising boat that will appeal to those who appreciate IP's construction techniques, but who want a little more pep in their sailing. The Blue Jacket 40 is part of Cruising World's 2014 New Boat Showcase.
