Yet another cool cat with a South African pedigree is the Maverick 400, appropriately nicknamed the "Space Craft." Indeed, spacious accoutrements above deck and below are signature elements in this rangy 40-footer. The enormous owners stateroom, which runs the length of the starboard hull, is especially noteworthy. The Maverick 400 is a part of Cruising World's 2013 New Boat Showcase.
