When Cruising World was launched 27 years ago this fall, the "People & Food" section made its debut as both a gossip column and a recipe exchange among cruising sailors, giving rise to its original tag line, "Who's where and what's cooking." Over the years it became one of the magazine's most popular features.
As the magazine evolved, so too did the food column, changing from a multi-recipe format to the article-and-one-recipe style you see in the magazine today. With this online version of the column, however, we'd like to return to the column's original "who's where and what's cooking," multi-recipe theme, and we encourage you to share your recipes and ideas. We'll read them all, and pick the best to publish in People & Food Online.
