Cruising World 2008 New Boat Showcase

X Yachts

Year after year, X-Yachts updates its comprehensive range of classy looking, high-performance racer/cruisers. Many X-Yachts models achieve one-design status and some, like the new X-41, are created with that specific goal in mind but with the additional purpose of being fun boats for family outings.

Just under 12 feet in beam, the X-41 is skinny by contemporary cruising-boat measures, but that, combined with a fine entry, big sail plan, and ballast concentrated in a T-bulb keel, bode well for reaching at well above displacement speed for the 35-foot waterline.

The X-Yacht trademark steel structural grid and fine, clean-lined interior appointments combine strength and style in an impressive package.
