Furuno’s NavNet TZtouch2 MFDs use familiar pinch-to-zoom and a variety of multi- and single-touch gestures for the most intuitive user-interface available on a chart plotter.

The current generation of multifunction displays lets you view data in a number of ways. This screenshot from a Raymarine Hybridtouch has a split screen with a chart and radar overlay on the left and a long-range radar image (12 nautical miles) on the right, showing a storm cell in the upper right of the screen. The radar display is set in one-third-offset mode, so though the range is 12 miles, the radar is looking 16 miles ahead and 8 miles astern.
