The Bay Bridge Boat Show celebrates its 25 anniversary on Kent Island, Maryland, from April 26 to 29. With more than 500 boats on display, this family friendly event is the largest in-water spring show on the Chesapeake. The Annapolis-based KidShip Sailing School will conduct knot-tying competitions, boat-rigging relay races, and steering drills, among other activities.
For the grown-ups, there’s a full schedule of seminars on topic such as engine maintenance, insurance, financing, and even advice on how to customize your boat’s interior. There’ll also be tips on what to do and see while you cruise the Chesapeake.
