Delicious Banana-Pineapple Bread

This recipe appeared in the August 2005 issue of Cruising World.

1 1/2 cups sugar
5 cups flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon cinnamon
3/4 cup honey
1 1/2 cups vegetable oil
3 eggs
3 bananas, mashed
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1 can crushed pineapple, drained, OR
1 1/2 cups fresh pineapple, chopped
1 cup raisins and/or choppe nuts (optional)

Combine dry ingredients. In a separate bowl, combine liquid ingredients. Then add the dry to the liquid and blend well. Pour into two greased loaf pans. Bake at 350 degrees F for one hour. Makes two loaves.
